Apple seems to be top of the market for must have gadgets like the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. But they can be quite pricey. I have searched and searched the internet for days and here is a brief run down on how to get a cheap iPad. These are my results:

From the new and used section of Amazon or eBay. Although you will not get a great discount, it is defiantly a way to get one for slightly cheaper than the retail, but it is quite difficult to find a large reduction in price.

There are sites out there that will offer an iPad with a massive cut in the price, offering 80% savings. But these are risky. What happens is you pay for every bid you place, which raises the price, you are in a battle will many others all trying to get that great deal. You pay, but you might not even end up with the product. I've seen iPads sell on those sites to someone who has bid over seven thousand times, which is no discount at all, in fact, it works out more than the retail price. If you want to try this, go ahead, you might get lucky. But I would not dare

When I saw this I instantly did not trust it. You do not get anything for free. But I tried it and it does work. I had to work to get an iPad, it cost me my time, but it was free.
